    What do I need to get started with Kinta?

    During implementation, we’ll meet regularly with an IT stakeholder who can provide detailed production data, and a factory stakeholder who can describe your operations and business goals.

    Does Kinta need historical training data?

    No, Kinta only needs current factory data to build a digital model of your factory. Just like modern Chess or Go engines, the algorithm optimizes a plan during a fast simulation of a single planning period.

    Kinta does not train on a historical training set at all, since it uses Reinforcement Learning rather than Supervised Machine Learning.

    How is Kinta priced?

    Kinta is priced as a per-factory license, with bulk discounts for additional factories. By eliminating per-seat pricing, Kinta can become a frictionless source of truth across departments.

    Is my data secure on Kinta’s platform?

    All data and software can be hosted either on a client’s private cloud in compliance with client security protocols, or on Kinta’s server. In a Kinta hosted option, Kinta provides security guarantees around data-in-transit and data-at-rest and follows strict SOC2 data security standards.
